Emulsion cosmetics are a heterogeneous coarse-dispersed (heterogeneous in composition, consisting of relatively large particles) substance. They contain two liquids that do not mix in nature (usually fat and water bases). In emulsion products, such substances are in a small-droplet state, one of them is distributed in the other. Examples of emulsion cosmetics are cream serums, butters, and milk.
The production of emulsion products under your own brand offers great opportunities for small, medium and large businesses to develop and increase sales. The funds invested in the development and production of products under your own brand will be recouped and bring profit. In addition, your own beauty brand helps to shape the company's image, promotes confidence in its products and increases demand.
Our company performs complex contract manufacturing of natural cosmetics: from concept development to its implementation. We produce creams, butters, masks, balms, milk, cream serums under the customer's brand and much more.
The technology of natural cosmetics consists of several stages at which the consumer properties of the finished product are formed. The quality of cosmetics and their effectiveness depend on the right formulation and compliance with the requirements of the technological process. The main document for production is the technological regulations that define the sequence of operations and all the parameters that affect the final result (for example, mixing speed and time, temperature, pressure).
Modern cosmetic cream production consists of preparatory, processing and packaging stages.
The processing stage involves mixing water and fat bases, heating, emulsifying, cooling and perfuming the product, and adding biologically active and other heat-resistant components.
Processing and emulsification take place in the main reactor (digester). Typically, mixing and processing of emulsified cosmetics are performed at a temperature of 70-90 degrees, depending on the density of the finished product. The required temperature is created by circulating hot water in the reactor jacket.
Emulsification (splitting the liquid into droplets and forming fine suspensions) is performed mechanically (using homogenizers) or ultrasonically (using hydrodynamic transducers). The process takes several hours. The resulting emulsion does not stratify during the entire shelf life.
After the emulsification is complete, the obtained mass is cooled to a temperature of 40-50 degrees, and the perfume composition, enzymes, herbal extracts, and other components are added to it. When stirred, the mass is cooled to 20-30 degrees. In addition to the so-called hot method, the production of natural cosmetics also uses a low-temperature method, which involves mixing a water component at room temperature into the hot or cold oil phase.
The final cosmetic product must be tested in a laboratory for compliance with the declared characteristics.
At the packaging stage, the finished product is packaged on automatic lines and packed in pre-prepared containers. After it is completed, the product is ready to be shipped to the customer and put on sale.
